Meta to Invest $600 Billion in U.S. AI Infrastructure and Jobs

Meta Platforms has announced plans to invest $600 billion in U.S. infrastructure and job creation over the next three years, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence (AI) data centers to support its rapid AI expansion.

The company aims to reach “superintelligence,” a point where machine intelligence surpasses human capabilities. It has already committed hundreds of billions of dollars toward constructing advanced AI data centers and will significantly scale spending to meet future computing demands.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg discussed the investment with U.S. President Donald Trump during a White House dinner in September, pledging “at least $600 billion” in domestic investments.

On Meta’s latest earnings call, Zuckerberg said the company’s approach is to “aggressively front-load capacity” to prepare for the most ambitious AI growth scenarios, positioning Meta at the forefront of global AI infrastructure development.
