$668bn Infrastructure Market in Focus at Lagos Expo

dmg events has announced the launch of two landmark exhibitions, West Africa Infrastructure Expo and HVACR Nigeria, scheduled for April 7–9, 2026, in Lagos. The shows will convene government leaders, investors, and industry players to spotlight the region’s infrastructure opportunities and the rising demand for sustainable technologies.

The events are positioned against the backdrop of a $668 billion infrastructure investment opportunity across West Africa. Key discussions will cover strategic projects such as the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Railway, Abidjan–Lagos Corridor Highway, Escravos Seaport Industrial Complex, and Africa Data Centre (Accra). Parallel sessions at HVACR Nigeria will highlight the 8.78% CAGR growth forecast for Nigeria’s energy-efficient HVACR sector (2025–2029).

The exhibitions aim to boost investor confidence, strengthen public–private collaboration, and align with Nigeria’s National Integrated Infrastructure Master Plan, targeting 70% infrastructure-to-GDP by 2043. Outcomes include stronger regional trade corridors, improved urban connectivity, and accelerated adoption of climate-conscious technologies, positioning Lagos as a continental hub for infrastructure innovation.
